Our story

Two sisters. Mama's recipes.

Our mother worked full time as a nurse and still cooked a four-course dinner every night. In 2016 we left our careers (one an attorney, one a banker) to share that kind of cooking with Nashville, and we opened Shugga Hi in July 2017.

Since then we've fed neighbors, catered for the 2019 NFL Draft in Nashville, and hosted a free fall harvest dinner for our community. Everyone who walks in gets treated like family.
